2009 Harvest

2009 Community Harvest Event
 

The next community harvest event will be held on the weekend of 25th and 26th July 2009, 10am - 4pm at the Stanley Road Allotments in Carshalton. Pick your own lavender and pay for what you pick.

 

Attractions are likely to include:
Aromatherapy advice, barbecue, beekeepers, lavender oil distillation display, harvester, lavender cookies, local artists at work, lavender arts and crafts, lavender plants for sale.

 

Please bring scissors if you have them, and clothing appropriate for the weather - rain or shine.  If it's hot, please don't forget to bring sunscreen, a hat and some drinking water.

 

Travel

 

The main entrance to the harvest is on Oaks Way. (Link to Multimap Postcode SM5 4NQ) 
 

Parking is extremely limited so please come by public transport if possible. There may be engineering works so please check before you travel.

  

By train
 

The nearest train station is Carshalton Beeches. Trains are direct from Victoria, Clapham Junction and Sutton (engineering works permitting!).

 

By bus
