2008 Community Harvest Event

The next community harvest event will be held on the 12th and 13th July 2008, 10am - 4pm at the Stanley Road Allotments in Carshalton.

We are holding it two weeks earlier than in previous years due to earlier flowering of the lavender which we believe may be due to climate change.

Attractions are likely to include:
Lavender PYO (small bunches - £1, large bunches - £2, buckets - from £6), aromatherapy advice, barbecue, beekeepers, lavender oil distillation display, Heritage Harvester, lavender cookie tasting, local artists at work, lavender arts and crafts, lavender plants for sale.

Please bring scissors if you have them, and clothing appropriate for the weather - rain or shine.  If it's hot, please don't forget to bring sunscreen, a hat and some drinking water.
