  • 2011 Harvest

Our 2011 Harvest Weekend took place on 30th and 31st July. Visitors took the opportunity to pick their own lavender, visit the local stalls and savour the sights, sounds and smells of the field. It was great to meet so many new and familiar faces. We hope to see you again next year!

Carshalton Lavender manages three acres of lavender in Carshalton Beeches in the London Borough of Sutton. We are a not-for-profit community project that aims to keep the heritage of local lavender alive for current and future generations.

Our fields are at the Stanley Road Allotments in Carshalton Beeches. Every July we hold a harvest where everyone can come and pick their own lavender. Lavender oil is distilled from the remaining flowers, and is sold throughout the year.

This year's harvest took place on 30th and 31st July 2011. Visitors came from far and wide to pick their own lavender and enjoy the field. Take a look at our harvest page for more details. And don't forget to put the date for 2012 in your diary - 28th and 29th July!

We need your help!

Carshalton Lavender is run entirely by volunteers. If you'd like to get involved, there are lots of ways that you can help out. Find out more.

Why not make the most of the lovely weather we've been having and join us in the field? We'll be holding work parties on Saturdays and Sundays throughout June and July.
